We believe that every dog has the right to good health, natural behaviour, companionship, a healthy diet and the best environment.
Put simply, we are dog people.
Bruno, our founder is the epitome of a dog person. In fact, he gave up a successful career as an interior designer to turn his passion for dogs into South London's most trusted doggy day care business.
Now, he gives more than 100 London-based pups the chance to run and play for hours in the beautiful Kent countryside, while their owners are at work or away from home.
How it all began
In 2004, Bruno (who moved to London from Brazil in 2003), was suffering with work stress and depression. His GP suggested he find a hobby; something positive to focus on. As he walked home from his appointment, thinking about what that hobby might be, he got talking to a lovely old lady walking her dog just a couple of minutes from his house.
“I stopped to chat to her and as I bent down to cuddle her little Terrier, I realised it was dogs that were missing from my life.
“I spent the next two months walking friends’ dogs, and it was clear this was no longer just a hobby but a passion business. There were no dog day care services near me that I felt really offered dogs more than a quick walk on a lead.
- 2004 – Bruno set up Bruno’s Dog Care, a pet-care service based in Clapham, south west London.
- 2008 – He started providing full-time dog care in South London
- 2010 – He aquired the farmland in Kent that his pup pack now call home whenever they’re with him.
Where we are today
Over the past 15 years, Bruno and his team of conscientious and highly-trained dog minders have been fortunate enough to look after over 500 dogs and have created a daycare service that’s trusted by happy dog owners across South London.
“I feel so privileged to meet and look after so many gorgeous dogs; they bring me so much joy. And my loyal dog owners are much more than clients, they’re my friends. I’m one very lucky dog lover.”
